1.All students must wear straight-legged pants (as in a Docker style
pant). Lands End, JC Penney, School eLeMeNT's, Dollar General, etc. all
carry such pants.
2. All t-shirts worn beneath school shirts must be plain white.
3. While at school, necklaces will be limited to religious necklaces (crosses,
scapulars, holy medals, etc.)
4. Heel height of girl's shoes should be no more than 2 inches high for
safety reasons. Set the shoe on the table and measure the heel from the
table top up to the sole of the shoe. If it's higher than two inches save
it for out of school wearing.
5. Dyed, streaked, or tinted hair should be returned to natural color
for the school year. Students, do not come to school without your natural
hair color.
6. All skirt lengths need to touch the tops of the knees. The back of
the skirt should also touch the knee crease in the back of the leg. When
hemming a skirt, a young lady should wear shoes to ensure proper fitting.
Please, parents, also discuss the ladylike way to sit in a skirt, if you
haven't already, with your daughter.
7. Shirts which have three-quarter length sleeves or capped sleeves should
not be worn.
8. Tight fitting, snug, or clothes which are simply too little should
not be worn.
9. Shorts length for girls and boys should be no longer than the mid knee
and no shorter than four inches from the middle of the knee. That gives
everyone four to fine inches to play with.
10. Bracelet should not be worn by students at school unless they are
of a religious nature (WWJD, Jesus bracelet, etc). Watches, as always,
are fine.
11. School shirt colors are red, white, and navy blue.
12. Socks should be of mid-to-top of ankle and easily visible. There is
a fad of wearing "no show" socks or pushing socks into the shoe
so as to be "cool". Do not buy "no show" socks. Also,
socks should be plain in color. No logos on socks are permitted.
13. Students should wear their pants at proper height. Hip-huggers for
girls and "low riders" for boys are not acceptable styles.
14. Sweaters should be of cardigan style, V-neck, or crew neck in style
and properly fitting in length. No cropped sweaters. No zipper sweaters
of any kind. No hooded sweaters of any kind.
15. Please note that slacks for girls and trousers for boys do not have
rivets. Dress corduroys do not have rivets and are acceptable. Cords with
rivets are considered jean cords and are not acceptable. Pants with rivets
are not uniform pants.
16. Finally, all students should properly tie their shoes.
