We know how important it is to master the basics of reading,
writing, mathematics and geography.
Our fully-certified and licensed faculty teach a thorough curriculum of
traditional subjects as required by the State
of Indiana, the
Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, and the
National Catholic Education Association. Also, understanding the challenges
of our ever changing technological world, we especially emphasize math,
computer training and science. Our new, fully equipped computer lab and
automated library as well as computers in every classroom, allow students
to become familiar with a variety of software applications and computer
skills on which they will build in high school and college.
Communications and language skills are also vitally important for a well-rounded
education. All seventh and eighth grade students study French or Spanish.
An outstanding fine arts enrichment program, outdoor environmental education
and a wide variety of athletics supplement classroom work at St. Charles
Borromeo School. Through extracurricular activities, we work to develop
students spiritually, emotionally and physically. Above and beyond the "basics."

Behind everything we do at St. Charles Borromeo School are the enduring
principles at the Catholic faith. We strive to reinforce values taught
at home and provide students with examples of Christian living. Students
participate in daily religion classes and attend Mass twice a week. They
plan liturgies and receive instruction in the sacraments of Reconciliation,
Eucharist and Confirmation.

handbooks) of all St. Charles policies check out the uniform section and
